Melissa

Hi! I’m Melissa and I’m a 28-year-old teacher with a bit of an international background. I grew up between Canada and Turkey, and I speak both English and Turkish. That upbringing made me someone who loves connecting with different kinds of people, which I think is a pretty handy quality in a housemate.

I keep an active lifestyle, skiing, bouldering, yoga, and salsa dancing are my go-to’s. When I’m not moving around, I’m usually reading about sociology, psychology, spirituality, or anything that catches my interest that day! I like staying curious and I always enjoy a good conversation.

As for living together — I’m clean, respectful of shared spaces, and easy to communicate with. I’m a social person who enjoys a laugh, but I’m equally happy to give people their space when they need it. Being a teacher has made me pretty patient, and I genuinely believe a bit of consideration and a good sense of humour goes a long way in any shared home.
