Hello, I am Mami. I am a professional in my fifties, working from home as a freelance translator (English to Japanese.) I am originally from Tokyo but have been living on Vancouver Island more than 15 years. I love bird watching, walking, and do some gardening so if you have a garden and need some hands, I am willing to help. I like cooking and if you are interested in Japanese food, I am happy to share meal with you. I am responsible, clean, tidy, and respect each other’s space and privacy. Quiet but friendly and get along with most type of people. I set the preferred move date as June, but if your place is available in April or May, start paying rent earlier can be an option to reserve the room.
