Montrealer, born & raised. Very clean & tidy, peaceful & quiet, sociable or can remain reserved to myself, homebody who stays busy with work, gym, internet projects and cooking tasty healthy delicious meals. I keep my social life limited and to outside my home, but occasionally don’t mind inviting friends over.

Currently in process of “mutually terminating” my lease of past 9 yrs (same 4.5 apartment under my name).

I have flexability to move out as the new LL is eager to take over and hike up the rent to new tenants. I use to rent out my 2nd room to roommates (I’ve had +40 diff roommates, mostly int’l students), but the new LL has new set of rules and the way he wants things doesn’t align + dwelling issues & noisy neighbors, increasing rent in an economy that is not so great, all combined give me good reasons to move out and take up a homeshare instead.

I am selling most my furniture and then will rent a storage locker. If you have an unfurnished room/home, I’m open to bringing more to help furnish your home. Looking to downsize for 3-6 months possibly 1-2 yrs, in order to save more cash before getting another apartment for myself.

I live a very simply life. I am very clean in every part of the home (kitchen & bathroom especially). I am great with food (prep & cooking). I have a lot of experience with various aspect of life, am into DIY handyman stuff and would love to get into home gardening. Also love summer time BBQing and winter time binge-watching. Love (well behaved) dogs.

• I stopped smoking ciggarettes ~5 yrs ago & switched over to vaping nictoine, it has been a huge difference, literally no second hand smoke. Took me about 1 full year to get rid of ciggarette odour from my home and since then the vape has like no second hand odour aside from the vape scent which lasts a few seconds, which is a small electric vapour (not smoke). Occasionally, I go out to party with friends (mostly just in summer), I’ll split a pack with friends and thats the end of that. I don’t mind if you smoke, as long as it’s not indoors as the 2nd hand odour is really bad and tough to get out.

Im looking for a homeshare, furnished or unfurnished, where the vibe is respectful and welcoming. A place where maybe we can teammup and split groceries and share meals (who better to do this with if not with roomies). I would like roommates who are clean and proactive, not lazy & dirty; who have the habits to remove shoes at door and wash their hands with soap & water regulalry instead of ignoring these basic things. We can discuss these things in person and find some compromises so feel free to send a shout.

Ideal location: in CDN or Place St Henri (metro stations Plamondon, Cote St Catherie, Snowdown, Villa Maria & St Henri). Open to Guy-Concordia or Atwater areas. Has to be short walking distance max 10 mins. I commute by STM and work mostly downtown. If your place takes forever to commute to and then a bus ride, just 4get it. I’m not looking to drag groceries every week by STM even if you offerred a free lift.
