I’m a 21-year-old Australian moving on a working holiday visa (IEC) to Canada. I’m looking to rent a room in Vancouver that is walking distance to public transport, and within a 45 minute public transport trip to downtown (but the closer the better). I’m flexible with a move in date - any time from February - May 2027, preferably sooner though. I’m looking to stay until at least January 2028, but may stay longer. Back in Australia I’m a nurse and lived by the beach, but I grew up in the mountains, so I’m stoked that Vancouver has both! Here in Canada, I’ll be looking to work full-time in hospitality or related industries. In my spare time I like learning languages, going to concerts, acting, finding new matcha spots, playing board games, watching movies, reading, going to comedy and theatre shows, and going out for the occasional cocktail. I’m clean and organised and always happy to do my share of household chores. I’m up for a chat or to hang out, but I’m also respectful of personal space and privacy. I’m a non-smoker and only drink occasionally socially. I enjoy baking too, so if you like sweet treats we might be a good match! I’d also be happy to team up with people to find a place together.
