I’m a 45-year-old gay man and father, currently living in Toronto, and I’m looking for a room in a house or shared apartment with the right person or people.
I’ve lived with roommates before and have learned that the biggest thing I look for is having a peaceful home. I’m pretty understanding, patient, and respectful of other people’s space and differences, and I’d like to live with someone who approaches things in a similar way.
I’m quiet, lighthearted, and independent. I read a lot, do some writing. I’m not looking for a party house, constant guests, drugs, chaos, or unnecessary drama. I’m looking for somewhere clean, safe, comfortable, and relaxed.
My son stays with me every second weekend. He’s a fantastic kid, very kind, thoughtful, and easygoing. My parents also visit from Northern Ontario a couple of times a year, so family is part of my life.
I’m not expecting perfection. Everyone has flaws and everyone has their own life. I’m just hoping to find someone mature, stable, honest, kind, and respectful who also loves having a peaceful home.
A good sense of humour definitely helps too.
