Hello, My partner David (34) and I (Rylee, 33) are mature students currently seeking a safe, quiet, and stable place to continue our studies and would love to be considered as tenants. I am studying Clinical Counselling, and David is pursuing Fine Arts prior to pursuing tattooing. Prior to returning to school, we both worked in the trades, which has made us practical, respectful, and conscientious people when it comes to maintaining a home (we know how much it costs!! hah). Between the two of us: if it’s broken, we can typically fix it. We also love to build and create things, so we are handy during upgrades and/or otherwise, and are a “treat people like you’d want to be treated” type of people. We are quiet, clean, and spend most of our time focused on school, art, and work. We also have one very well-behaved “dog” who lives in a cat’s body (note: she is just a cat, but she acts like a well-trained service dog, comes when she is called, will sit and politely beg for food, etc); calm, gentle, chunky, occasionally chatty, extremely well mannered indoors, never jumps on countertops…. She is the dream cat people think about before getting their first cat.I also haaaaaaaate the smell of cat litter, so I buy extra special wood-based stuff that doesn’t give off a weird/gross smell like clay! Otherwise we are generally goofballs who love to: laugh, watch comedies, bake homemade goods, sunbathe, snuggle the cat, read, garden, tinker with my car, camp, or go for nature walks. We love music but it’s often through earbuds, although we do not shy away from a comfortable silence or sitting in nature listening to birds calling. Maintaining a peaceful and respectful living environment is vital to us. David has allergies to dust, so a clean space is very critical. He is very pro-active with cleaning and maintenance, and we have a small handheld vacuum we use to keep things “spruced”. We value strong communication, honesty, respect, and generally being friendly/friends with our housemates. We have both lived rather colourful lives, and love sharing experiences where we can. Communal meals are something I love to offer, and I was raised by 2 chefs so I got the skills to offer! You name it, I can probably make it from scratch. We have one vehicle, do not host parties, seldom drink, and are occasional outdoor smokers/vapers (who are actively making efforts to quit entirely). We are hoping to find a quiet place where we can focus on building a stable future while completing our education. Thank you very much for your time and consideration!
