I am a 31-year-old fiction book editor. I work from home a lot as I’m self-employed and would love a place that can be a peaceful sanctuary (maybe filled with plants, good art and candlelight?:) I’m a huge cat lover; I have no pets of my own but would love to live with a cat! It’s very important to me to have a good relationship with the person I live with. I’d love for my new roomie to be a friend and for us to care about each other! But also, the nature of my work is intense and I can go into “hermit mode” if I’m on a deadline - I’ll still be friendly, don’t worry, but I might be more introverted in these cases. I would like to live with someone who understands not to take it personally if I am focusing on work (for this reason I might suit buddy-ups with PHD students, other writers, editors and translators, or people in a similar field.) However, I would also love to share wine and food and a dance - I am a sociable person when I’m not deep in work mode.
