Hi, I’m Vashti!

I just moved to Canada a week ago from Australia. I’m on a 2 year working holiday visa and am keen to settle in to the right home as soon as possible.

I’m looking to rent a furnished room in a fairly central location. Doesn’t have to be right in the city, inner neighbourhoods are great, too.

As a roommate, I’m quite private and solitary, but that’s not to say standoffish: I’d welcome any opportunity to get to know my roommates (perhaps over a margarita?) and explore my new city. As a hospitality worker, it’s been ingrained in me to ‘clean as you go’ and I apply that to home life, too. (Cleaning is also my favourite method of procrastination.)
