I’m moving to Montréal in August to begin a graduate program at McGill. For my first year I’m looking to find a furnished room to rent before I commit to a lease in a city I’m still learning. Ideally looking for a place with a parking spot, but it’s not a must (I know I won’t need my car in the city, but I’d like have it to visit friends in Ottawa and I’m happy to take us to Costco).

I am a clean and quiet person who can easily keep my own company or chat and hang out in a shared space. I’m straightforward, honest, and I make friends easily. I don’t speak French (yet!), but I’m learning and very comfortable in a multilingual household. I speak Chinese and Russian fluently and use them in my professional life as part of my graduate studies.

I like to cook and share in making food, but I will never take yours without asking. I play music but am happy to use headphones. I’m fine with cannabis use in the home, but prefer vape/edible use so we don’t have a lot of smell. I’m allergic to dogs, but love cats.
