I’m moving to Montréal in August to begin a graduate program at McGill. For my first year I’m looking to find a furnished room to rent before I commit to a lease in a city I’m still learning. Ideally looking for a place with one free or cheap parking spot (I know I won’t need my car in the city, but I’d like have it to go skiing and visit friends in Ottawa).

I am a clean and quiet person who can easily keep my own company or chat and hang out in a shared space. I’m straightforward, honest, and I make friends easily. I don’t speak French (yet!), but I’m learning and very comfortable in a multilingual household. I like to cook and share food (but I will never take yours without asking). I play music but am happy to use headphones. I’m fine with cannabis use in the home, but prefer vape/edible use so we don’t have a lot of smell. I’m allergic to dogs, but love cats.
