Hi! I’m an incoming PhD student at York University from South Korea. I’m quiet, clean, respectful, and spend most of my time studying, reading, and working on research. I value open communication, mutual respect, and being considerate of the people I live with.
I’ve lived with both dogs and cats, and I get along well with animals. I also shared an apartment with the same roommate for five years during university, which gave me plenty of experience living cooperatively and respectfully with others.
Ideally, I’m looking for a place within walking distance of York University. If that’s not possible, somewhere within about 20 minutes by public transit would be great. A private bedroom is important to me, and a private bathroom would be ideal, though I’m comfortable sharing common spaces such as the kitchen and bathroom.
Furnished accommodation would be preferred, but I’m also open to unfurnished options if the rent is reasonable. Since I’ll likely spend the summers in Korea, it would be great if subletting is permitted during that time.
I’m hoping to find a comfortable, respectful, and friendly living environment. Thank you for reading!
