Hi I’m looking for a room to rent in Victoria for July 1st. I’m moving from Kamloops to be closer to my mother for when she needs care around her new place. I’m recently retired and have moved to BC to be closer to my family. I’m interested in short term rentals for now looking for longer term rentals as I get more established in Victoria. I’m a non-smoker, no pets, though I’m pet friendly and am not bothered by them as long as they’re not running around my room :-). I have an electric bicycle I’ll need a secure spot for, and a car that I’ll need parking space for. And it would be good if there was already wi-fi in the house. My mother lives near Fort St. and Oak Bay Ave. so that’s roughly the area I’m hoping to find a room nearby. My household furniture is in storage right now and I can provide a bed and dresser if needed but would prefer a furnished room for now. I’m quiet and respectful of others’ space, don’t mind sharing a bathroom as long as others clean up after themselves. I like to keep my space clean and tidy, including the kitchen and bathroom. I have an acoustic guitar which I like to play quietly, though you really can’t hear it outside a bedroom, especially in concrete apartment buildings. A balcony would be a bonus as would underground parking but neither are requirements. I can be contacted by email or cellphone. :-) Dan
