👋🏻 Hello there, I am reaching out to introduce myself to folks here in the group in the hopes of finding the perfect spot on the Peninsula to call home as I seek new scenery on Vancouver Island, closer to my lovely friends in Sidney. 

👨🏼 About Me: I am actively relocating from Saskatchewan, where I work for a non-profit that supports entrepreneurs to start and scale their businesses. I am active in my community through volunteerism and other local initiatives. I hope to translate all of this to my new locale.

With me, will be my pet dog, Letty, and my service dog, Lupin. Letty loves to spend her days under a blanket or in a sunbeam and Lupin goes most places that I go to support my disability. Both are miniature dachshunds and do not take up a lot of space.

I prefer quiet nights with a tabletop board game over loud parties, and cooking a nice meal with friends in lieu of ordering in. You can expect to find me watering my plants, working on container gardens, and mastering new recipes in my small electric BBQ.

🏡 A Place to Call Home: I am actively relocating and am prepared to rent as early as July 15 or August 1. 

I am open to a variety of scenarios, including a room in a shared living space with other roommates or a family or a one-bedroom suite. It would be amazing to have an outdoor space for the dogs, but that is certainly not a requirement. 

As mentioned above, my friend lives in Sidney and she has offered to meet prospective landlords or view units, as needed. I would also be very interested in virtual meet-and-greets or phone calls to discuss any available opportunities.
