Hi! My name is Mackenzie. I’m a nurse and, admittedly, a bit of a workaholic.

I’m easygoing, nonjudgmental, and a little shy when I first meet people. I have a family dog who lives with my parents just around the corner, and I walk her every day—I absolutely adore her.

I don’t smoke because cigarettes give me headaches, so I’d just ask that smoking be done outside. I don’t smoke cannabis or drink alcohol either (I know, I sound boring!), but I have no issue with roommates who do. What you choose to do is entirely up to you.

I’m definitely a clean person. Cleaning is actually how I de-stress, so you’ll never have to worry about me leaving a mess behind.

Right now I’m paying nearly $3,000 a month at The Camby (the building you can see from Highway 401 in Cambridge), and I’m hoping to move somewhere a little less luxurious so I can save for a home.

I do have a boyfriend. He usually stops by in the mornings to wake me up before work, but he doesn’t hang around. The only thing I wanted to mention is that I’d like to make sure everyone feels comfortable if we’re ever being affectionate, so open communication is important to me. Kind of a funny thing to include in a roommate post, but I’m an open book!

I’m looking for female roommates only—it’s simply where I feel most comfortable.

Outside of work, I love animals, walking, and music. And yes… I also genuinely love working. 😅

I’m reliable, have excellent credit (800+), and you’ll never have to chase me for rent. I always pay on time because I hate awkward conversations about money.
