I’m moving from the Netherlands to Calgary in September to start working at the university, and I’m looking for a room in a friendly shared house.

Outside of work, I really enjoy staying active, for example through running, ultimate frisbee, checking out cultural events or simply meeting friends. I also love reading books, but I will probably have to leave my library behind in Europe :(

I have lived in shared houses for the past 10 years, so I really like a social household where people don’t just share a roof to save money, but also like getting to know each other, chatting in the kitchen, sharing meals, or hanging out from time to time.

I’m a clean, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces, and I always to my part with household chores. I’m easy-going and value open communication.

To end on a silly note: I seem to have a thing for niche sports. I’ve competed in the national curling championships (okay, maybe not so niche in Canada, but in Europe it is!), and even won a national championship in quidditch!
