Oona

I’m 29 and from Finland. I studied at MacEwan for a semester in Fall 2023 and ended up staying in Canada for a year. I absolutely fell in love with the country, so after finishing my Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, I’m moving back on an open work permit and currently looking for a full-time job.

I’m very active, I play ringette in the NRL and love cycling, playing tennis, pilates, going to the gym and I recently finished a half marathon. I love doing sports together, so if you feel like getting active with me just tag a long!

I’ll be moving with my 8-year-old Schipperke. She’s very used to other pets and people and has spent most of his life living with other pets. I’m pretty independent and enjoy having my own quiet time, but I also love spending time with other people and I have lived with roommates before. Since I’ll be living in a different country again, I’d really like to meet new people and would love to join in on activities or hobbies from time to time. In my free time, I enjoy reading (mostly BookTok recommendations 😄) and watching hokey shows like tsip, Gilmore Girls, and The Vampire Diaries. I’m always open to watching other genres too!
