Muyao Guo & Yuan

Hi! I’m Muyao, 24, looking for a furnished home for myself and my partner, 22. I plan to move in on August 31, and he may join me in September depending on his work-authorization timeline. We’re looking for a one-year lease or longer.

I’m a McMaster graduate student with a confirmed one-year Toronto internship offer. I’ll work onsite two days per week and plan to continue building my career in Toronto afterward.

We’re originally from China and are building a long-term life together in Canada, where we can live openly as a couple. We’re openly gay and part of the furry community, so we’re looking for an LGBTQ+ and furry-friendly household.

We’re clean, quiet non-smokers with no pets and no need for parking. We usually sleep around 11 p.m.–7 a.m., cook once or twice a week and occasionally invite a friend over, but we’re not party people.

We need a furnished, couple-friendly room or private suite, preferably with a private bathroom. Our total budget is CA$1,500 per month for both of us, including utilities, Wi-Fi and mandatory fees. We prefer outside downtown within about a 10-minute walk of TTC Line 1 or 2, though downtown is also possible. We’re also open to teaming up with compatible non-smoking roommates.
