Hey everybody, just looking for a clean and somewhat quiet place to rest my head. I’ve recently ‘downgraded’ my life somewhat while I work out a way to transition from being a bartender to completing my OSCE exams to start a new career as a registered massage therapist. I’m somewhat of a student at the moment while I make my living working part-time - and leaning on savings if need be - while I prepare to take the exams in early winter. I like to cook, run, cycle, read, work on DIY projects, travel, research obscure topics, geek out on history and pop culture, and most of all, spend time with my dog. Her name is Mabel and she’s a sweetie pie! Also super quiet and chill when at home, I promise. Another aspect of the downgrade is freeing up enough time to readjust after finding out that I’m AuDHD and learning how to unmask, avoid the burnout, and be truer to myself. I’m a pro-labour, pro human rights, anti-bigotry progressive with a near obsession with justice and equality… but I swear I’m still fun at parties too :)
