Hello hello, I am Jean. 36 years old man originally from Montreal who moved to Campbell River in July 2026. Though, I lived a little all across Canada during my military service which I have served from 2010 till 2023. I notably worked as a parachute specialist with the Royal 22nd Regiment - Airborne, Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Center - Airborne, and 435 Search And Rescue Squadron most of my career finishing up as a Clearance Diver Junior selected at Fleet Diving Unit Pacific.

My current living situation is not healthy or suitable for me therefore I’m seeking a new place to stay. I do not have an issue living with someone who occasionally have a drink but I’ve been sober for 4 years and I’m not seeking a party house or to live with someone who uses drugs.

I am seeking a new place to live while I settle down in Campbell River and orient myself towards building my second career. Open to stay long term.

I am also building a free community therapy program using ocean as our primary tool and might be working in Powell River at a therapy center during weekends. Otherwise, I’m mostly out all the time. I go run, bike or swim in the morning then do a workout at the gym and then I go on adventures around the island or on the ocean with friends. I have a passion for nature, ocean and marine mammals. I have also lots of appointments with veterans affairs or similar organizations that I work with in order to build myself up for success in my next career.

I am a reliable and self motivated team player driven by my own enthusiasm. I am constantly and actively seeking continuous improvement, aiming to leave things and places better than I found them. My ambition and curiosity drive me to constantly improve through learning and growth. Altruistic, optimistic, stoic, resilient, and in good company by myself, I have energy and joy to share along with a leveled head on my shoulders and a warm heart in the chest. I find the positive in every situation. When there’s an issue, I see an opportunity to find a solution.
