🌟 Two Graduate Students Looking for a Home Near UVic 🌟

Hi! My name is Emmanuela Ebofin, and I’ll be starting my Master’s in Telecommunications and Information Security at the University of Victoria this Fall (September 2026). My roommate, Sophia Umukoro, will also be starting her Master of Engineering in Applied Data Science at UVic at the same time.

We’re two responsible graduate students looking for a 2–4 bedroom home near UVic, and we believe we’d make wonderful tenants. We’re tidy, respectful, quiet, and responsible, and we genuinely value having a clean, peaceful, and comfortable place to call home. We both take our studies seriously, so most of our time will be spent attending classes, studying, and enjoying a quiet routine. 😊

We’re non-smokers, considerate of noise and neighbours, and we take pride in keeping our living space clean, organized, and well-maintained. We understand the importance of treating a rental property with care and respect, following house rules, communicating openly, and being responsible tenants. We’re also looking for a long-term home for approximately 1–2 years, matching the length of our graduate programs, so we’re hoping to find somewhere we can genuinely settle into and call home.

🏡 What We’re Looking For

We’re currently looking in Gordon Head, Cadboro Bay, Oak Bay, and Saanich, and are open to any of these areas as long as the property is within walking distance of UVic or on a direct bus route, preferably within about 20 minutes.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

• 🛁 A 2-bedroom suite with 1–2 bathrooms, or a 3–4 bedroom suite with 2+ bathrooms
• 🚌 Direct bus route to UVic or within walking distance (ideally 20 minutes or less)
• 💰 $750–$1,000 per room
• 🍽️ Dishwasher
• 🧺 In-suite laundry
• 📶 Internet included
• 💡 Utilities included
• 📅 Long-term lease of approximately 1–2 years
• 🗓️ Move-in around September 1st, 2026

Ultimately, we’re looking for more than just a place to stay—we’re hoping to find a peaceful, well-kept home where we can focus on our studies and enjoy our time in Victoria. In return, we’d be tenants who take care of the property, respect our neighbours, communicate well, and keep our home clean and comfortable.
