Hi! I’m a researcher relocating to Toronto from Germany, where I’ve been living in Bielefeld for the past few years. I’m Canadian , so this is a move home in many ways, and I’m looking for a room or a whole-apartment sublet in midtown or downtown while I settle in.

I work in international development it’s engaging work that keeps me busy, often on calls across time zones, so on weekdays I tend to be heads-down and focused. I value a calm home to come back to, but I’m far from a hermit: I love a shared meal, a good conversation over coffee, and getting to know the people I live with. I’m easy-going, communicative, and I keep shared spaces clean and tidy without being precious about it.

A bit more about the living situation: it would be me to start, and my partner would be joining me in Toronto later on, so I’m happy to talk through what works for everyone as that time approaches. No pets and I’m respectful of quiet hours and other people’s routines.

I’m reliable with rent and references, and I’m looking for somewhere within easy commuting distance of my office near Yonge, ideally midtown (Yonge-Eglinton, Davisville) or a short subway ride from there. If any of this sounds like a fit, I’d love to hear from you.
