Hi, I’m Timmo. I recently moved from Germany to Kingston to begin a two-year position as a postdoctoral researcher at Queen’s University. I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment or house, with a budget of around $1,400 per month, depending on the location and what is included.

Since I’ll be working at a Queen’s research facility in the northwestern part of Kingston rather than on the main campus, I would prefer Cataraqui North, Weller, Strathcona Park, or another neighbourhood with a convenient connection to Grant Timmins Drive—ideally along Route 7.

I’m clean, considerate and responsible, and I’m looking for a relaxed and friendly home where everyone respects each other’s privacy and keeps the shared spaces tidy. I’m happy to socialize and spend time together occasionally, but I also appreciate having a quiet place to unwind after work.

In my free time, I enjoy gaming and spending time outdoors, especially hiking, running, swimming and cross-country skiing. I also like cooking, both on my own and together with others, and would be happy to occasionally cook or share a meal with my roommates.
