Hello everyone!
My name is Akshat, and I have just obtained permanent residency in Canada. I plan to move to Toronto soon and am looking for a room in a shared apartment.
My budget is $800–$1,200 CAD per month, all-inclusive. I would prefer downtown Toronto but am open to other neighborhoods. Ideally, I’d like to live near a subway station for easy access to the city center.
A little about me: I am 28 years old and a PhD candidate in Astronomy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the US. I hold a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am friendly and quiet, and I spend much of my time studying or working at the library.
