Malacha May Leonard-Stegman

Hi, I’m Malacha May Leonard-Stegman and I’m looking for a place in Vancouver with a budget of $1,100 per month.

I am a 20-year-old woman from Utah, United States of America. Coming from the USA to Canada for school has been tricky, and right now, my only focus is on my schooling. I chose Canada, and Vancouver in particular, because of its wide range of people and ways of life. I love how there is space for anyone in Vancouver, as long as you can learn to love the rain. Before my studies, I spent most of my life bouncing around the United States of America; I finished my high school education in Utah. After graduating, I took a gap year where I worked in Japan to raise money, and then travelled around for a few months after that.

For my living habits: I am always clean, and I have a rigid schedule of study, play, and exercise that I find works best for me. Every once in a while, I may come home late, although I am always sure to be as quiet as I can. The kitchen is my main need for cleanliness. But in general, I live by the ideology that if my environment is a mess and/or dirty, then my head is too. Around midterms and finals, I can let my own personal space (my bedroom) get slightly messy. Although it’s never a food mess. I also have a lot of practice with getting along and taking responsibility for myself.
