Single parent empty-nester. Currently paying $2600 for a 2 bed in the Glebe which is unsustainable. Would be great to share a house with someone maybe in similar circumstances. I need space when kids come home from university a couple times a year but otherwise keep to myself. I don’t have any pets but love animals, dogs especially. I’m a mental health practitioner, non-smoker, tidy, handy. Into yoga, camping, skiing, swimming. GenX. I work a staggered week so my weekends are midweek -this might be a selling point if you are like me and reluctant about the idea of moving in with someone you don’t know. I work in Centretown so somewhere within walking/biking distance is ideal but not imperative.
