Jean-Marc Tihange

My name is Jean-Marc, I’m a 31y/o Belgian civil engineer with 7y of professional experience. I have a ‘Work/Holiday’ visa that allows me to spend 12 months in Canada in 2027, and I’m planning to make Toronto my home during that time. I’d describe myself as open-minded, easy going and tidy. I’ve spent 2 years living on my own flat and another 6 years living in shared houses, so I’m used to sharing a space and respecting other people’s habits. I enjoy a good balance between having some quiet time to myself, watching Netflix or whatever, and hanging out with housemates, having a chat or even doing things together and going out! As I plan to move to Canada around the 15th of January, I’m actively looking for a job in Toronto from Belgium, ideally in my field. In the meantime, I have enough savings to cover my rent and bills while I look for work, so you can rest assured that payments won’t be an issue. I’m looking forward to discovering both the country and the place i’ll be proud to call home for the months to come 😊
