Clear, explicit and respectful communication is of paramount importance to me, especially when there is conflict. It’s important to me to be able to discuss and pin down just how things stand.

You can expect me to:

• spend most of my time in my own room
• sometimes take over the kitchen for most of a day cooking big batches of food
• invite you to have some of the food I make!
• participate in keeping common areas of the house clean and neatly organized (I like to set up organizational systems!)
• sing and dance sometimes
• care for indoor plants such as aloe vera - and maybe a vegetable garden if there’s room for one!
• often be wearing headphones, such that I might not notice you until you can get me to see you waving or something
• take long trips out of town and be gone for weeks from time to time
• depend on having a consistent internet connection so I can keep in touch with my friends, play games and watch online shows to relax
• attend Zoom meetings and record my voice, and care a lot about the sound isolation between rooms allowing me to do this without disturbing anybody else, and allowing them to do whatever they do without interfering with my recordings
• be a big-time tabletop gaming nerd!
• be proudly queer and an ally to other LGBTQ+ folks, but not necessarily agree with them on all our politics
