Hey! I’m 34 and work part-time with the Canadian Navy Reserve, and I also play live music part-time.

I’m mature, easygoing and accommodating, but I am pretty particular about cleanliness and keeping shared spaces tidy. Communication is important to me - I also serve as a peer counsellor as a secondary duty in the military, so I’m generally pretty good at talking things out respectfully if something comes up.

I don’t party or smoke anything. I’m pretty routine - I usually spend my mornings quietly meditating and reading, I’m at the gym regularly, and otherwise I’m working, playing gigs or doing my own thing. I don’t cook much or spend a lot of time occupying the kitchen or other shared spaces.

Despite being a musician, I’m very conscious of noise - I make most of my music using headphones, keep my practice quiet, and even use a vocal-muting device when practicing singing at home.

I’m friendly and definitely not antisocial, but I have a lot going on and generally live pretty independently. I’m happy to hang out occasionally - but I don’t expect roommates to hang out every day or even every week.

I’m also pretty scarce at times because of military work - last year, for example, I was away sailing for about 8 months.

Overall, I’m quiet, respectful and pretty routine. Honestly, I’m a fairly boring roommate - there’s a good chance you won’t actually see me that much. 😂
