Description

Seeking household anywhere in GVRD starting April 2023. Vegetarian and mature is ideal, but I am flexible. I am exceptionally clean and tidy.

‘Snowbird’ writer and photographer’s assistant in Asia. Steady income: pension. Landlord references. COVID vaccinated & COVID recovered. I wash my dishes and enthusiastically participate in household responsibilities (willing to do extra chores for reduced rent). I prefer shared cooking, but a co-op household is not essential. I lived in a successful intentional community in Calgary w/leftist anarchists even though I am more or less libertarian (‘live and let live’, just don’t expect me to pay for it). So, I found the ‘woke’ behaviour of female university-age roommates (one-way tolerance for different ideas) just too much. Do you read Jordon Peterson, Sam Harris, Ben Shapiro, Christopher Hitchens? We would be a perfect fit.

Requirements: semi-furnished room; full kitchen facilities (my hobby is cooking); proximity to public transit (or very walkable/cyclable) to major supermarkets. Much prefer lessee/owner to actually live in unit, rather than a commercial rental. I don’t care if you smoke cannabis outside, but I do not. I do not drink or use illegal drugs. I have no pets but like animals. I cannot live with tobacco-smokers (even if they smoke outside). Much prefer to share a house with fellow health-conscious vegetarians.

Payment: I can pay two to four months at a time if the discount is commensurate.

Important: who I live with is more important than where (excepting most of Surrey). Your religion, sexuality, national origin, ethnicity and politics are really none of my business. But I do typically get along better with conservative men who have jobs.
