Top floor apartment in Bridgeland, with a big balcony, and lots of sun and city views. Its a quiet neighborhood, and a very quiet building. This is a two-bedroom apartment occupied only by myself; I’m looking for the right roommate for the second bedroom. I’m looking for a long-term roommate, but would like to start with a 6month lease. No smokers please. About Me: I’m a 34-year-old male engineer. I love mountain sports, arts and music, board games, and anything to do with urban planning and architecture. I work 9-5, 4days a week, and work from home one day. I go out for many activities, so you’ll often have have evenings and weekends to yourself, especially in summer. I am a light sleeper, so I do need quiet hours between 11pm and 7am. Close doors quietly, etc. I’m fairly tidy, I always put dishes away, and I clean the apartment once per month. The Apartment: Your bedroom is unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment is furnished. The bedroom is 12’ X 7.25’, and has a 3.66’ X 2’ closet. It has an optional window air conditioner. In-suite washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, regular oven/stove. All the windows face west, and have great views of the neighborhood and the downtown skyline. The total apartment is 750sqft, not including the balcony. Fridge/Freezer: we can split the space 50/50. Located halfway up the hill on 5th St NE, it has great access for walking, biking, and driving. It is a 10-15min walk to downtown Bridgeland, East Village, or Center Street, and and just 5mins to the nearest restaurants on Edmonton Trail. The building does NOT have an elevator, bike storage, or a TV/cable. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit, since it is on the 4th (top) floor. And yes, there is a bouldering (climbing) wall in part of the livingroom. Final Notes: Let me know why you think you’re a good fit!
