I’m in my mid-20s, work full-time at a car dealership and am also joining the Canadian Army Reserve. Before moving to Saskatchewan, I worked as a licensed Health Care Assistant in BC.
I’m social, friendly, clean and responsible. I enjoy being able to chat and hang out at home, but there are also times when I just need my own space and downtime. I think a good roommate situation is one where we can be comfortable around each other while also respecting when the other person wants some time to themselves.
I’m not looking for a party house, but I’m not looking for a monastery either. I don’t care if a roommate has a few drinks or is 420 friendly, as long as smoking is kept outside and no hard drigs are around. With work and Reserve training, I’ll have a busy schedule, so being able to come home and get a good night’s sleep is important.
Mostly, I’m looking for someone easy-going and responsible who cleans up after themselves, respects each other’s space and belongings, pays their share of the bills on time and doesn’t bring a bunch of drama home.
My other roommate is my cat! He’s an indoor cat and part of the household, so you’ll definitely need to be comfortable living with a cat. I’m open to one small indoor spayed/neutered cat joining us as long as the cats get along.
I’m working toward some hefty financial goals over the next couple of years, so having a stable, comfortable and affordable place to live is important to me.
