Large private bedroom in a 2-bed, 1-bath apartment in the heart of downtown Kingston. The building is right beside the downtown transfer point, so transit is super accessible. Top floor unit, which means going up 2 flights of stairs but also means no upstairs neighbours!

The building has a shared laundry room (2 washers, 2 dryers). Utilities average around $60/month, with winter running higher than the summer months due to baseboard heating. Internet is about $23/month on top of that, and we get 1.5 Gbps up and down through Bell. There’s no central AC, so a portable unit for your room is a lifesaver in the summer. The building does not have parking available. Just a heads up, my landlord does require a application, and they’ll check income, credit, and references.

I’m a Queen’s student finishing up my undergrad in economics this year (I also have a CS degree) but am planning to get my master’s degree next year as well. I have a cat named Midnight (black cat, very chill). Outside of school I like cooking, gaming, and generally being a homebody. I’m respectful of shared spaces and make an effort to keep them clean.

I’d love for us to figure out a system together for staying on top of chores and splitting them fairly, and I prefer open and direct communication out of respect for each other. I’m looking for another woman (or enby) who might be open to being friends! Queer folks are especially welcome, but at the very least being queer-friendly is a must.
