Basement room available for the start of October. 15-20 minute walk from the University of Calgary, or a short walk away from the C-train. Located in Banff Trail NW. The basement is currently not being used other than for laundry and storage. It is a shared house overall, as the kitchen and upstairs living room are shared. There is one female cat, but she is very friendly. There is one parking space available in the back. Rent would be $ 812.50, not including internet/utilties. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. There is also a detached garage available for any storage needed.

The bedroom itself has a lot of storage for clothes and personal items. There is a private bathroom available.

Hi there, my roommate and I are two 21-year-old students currently in our fourth year of university. I am majoring in Law and Society, and they are majoring in Geophysics. We have been best friends since grade school, and although we’re both huge people in our lives, we are both very used to living our separate lives. We are not expecting someone to always hang out with us. We love to socialize and be friendly when everyone is feeling it, but also love taking time to ourselves and are comfortable giving each other space. We want everyone in the house to feel comfortable being themselves and to have space for their own routines.

Our house is pretty laid-back, and as much as we love it, we have an extra room and would love to fill the space. We love to cook the occasional meal together, hang out and watch TV, or literally just sit in silence on our phones while still being in each other’s company. We both have interests in art, anime, movies, video games and TV shows.

We are typically very tidy and clean people and try our best to keep common spaces clean. We make the effort to communicate and divide household chores between each other and have no issue helping out when communicated.

An important part of the household is the cat. Although she is a woman, she is very much the man of the house. She is a very friendly cat and loves to sit by you on the couch or lie on you when you have a blanket on. She is typically very quiet other than 2 occasions: when she is running around the house at 12 am or when she is hungry, choosing to make it everyone’s problem. A note to mention is that she will give you random glares, making you question your life choices.

We are looking for someone who is tidy, respectable, and a good communicator, who has similar interests to ours.
