ROOM: Spacious (14ft x 9ft 5in / 4.3M x 2.9M) with window and large closet (6ft 3in / 2M long). Shared bathroom with all new wall & shower tiles. Kitchen has brand new stove/oven and new fridge with good freezer space. Small entry hall with bathroom straight ahead, your room on left, mine on the right. Access to kitchen is through my room, but it’s yours as much as mine. All rooms freshly repainted. Good sound insulation in building.

BUILDING AND LOCAL AREA Laundry on site. Convenience store directly across the street, and Metro, Shoppers Drug Mart, and movie theatres very close. Community centre with pool & other amenities across the street, as is a park.

I’m the only other person living here. I’m older (64), but not yet yelling at clouds.

Work: I’m a freelance book editor, but often take a day job for a while when business is slow.
