This cute heritage house East Vancouver between Commercial Drive and the PNE has two floors, two living rooms, two bathrooms and two bedrooms (one per floor). I have an office on the upper floor and most of my furniture is there, including a piano that I play. The lower floor is largely empty, but comes furnished with the basics. There is a full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. The downstairs bedroom is available. It has an ensuite bath. There is a solar panel on the roof. The house is solid, warm and bright, particularly on the lower floor. There is laundry in the house.

The room is available for $850 a month, plus half of the electricity/heat/wifi costs. Contact directly for video tour or masked distanced in person tour.

The area is great - very walkable and friendly, with basically everything you need within easy walking distance, and close to two major bus routes.

I am non-smoking, not a partier, and lesbian. I’m middle aged, and work at home as a techie, writer and musician. If you smoke tobacco or pot, you are fine doing it only outdoors.

Looking for a responsible, music-loving woman or queer person who works outside the home, love cats but do not have one. A bonus if you are all about the ecological living and would not dream of living somewhere where recycling and composting was not an option.

For the next few months until covid passes, we may need to keep our distance within the house, which is fine because there is room for that. After that, we can figure out how much of the space we want to share more fully. I want to share with only one other woman or queer person, and with my friendly tomcat.
