Avenue Trans-Island

Nice 10’x10’ basement room with a closet to hang and store your things. Plenty of lighting guaranteeing a bright room if you choose to hang out there. This is not your average dark, damp, gloomy basement.

Our place, a converted duplex, is fresh out of renovations (2017). We built this place with students or hoursemates in mind and there are four separate rooms available. It’s not rare for us to have all rooms occupied yet the house never feels crowded.

The space In addition to the two full bathrooms, there are two common area where everyone is welcome. A fully furnished kitchen which includes a dining table and a pair of couches, large screen TV with plenty of devices to satisfy your entertainment needs. This house is the home of movie lovers so you can expect a respectable library of DVDs to be available. If you don’t have your own Netflix account, you’re welcome to use the one configured on the TV already. The living room is brightly lit in natural light in the daytime and recessed lighting illuminates the place in the evening.

Other things to note We have a cat living with us although he does spend a lot of time outside (curfews don’t apply to cats, lucky beast). He has his own door so he come and go as he pleases. Try not to be seduced by his cuteness - he’s hoping to get some food. He’s unafraid of visitors and reasonably curious.

We are two friends, Marc and Chrisella, who acquired and renovated the building together. We occupy the entire second floor but we share in the same kitchen. For the time being, only Marc is permanently at home as we try to be responsible during the pandemic. Chrisella is living with her girlfriend but does visits once in a while. Mostly to see her cat.
