Hello! I have a bedroom available for rent starting April 1st in a 2 bed/1 bath detached home near Kingsway and Boundary. It is an older home, but it has a lot of character (hardward floors, fireplace, big private backyard with garden beds, etc.) and it is dog friendly! If you have a pup, or are looking to get one, this is the perfect place!

The house is about a 10 minute walk to Patterson SkyTrain Station and a 10/15 minute walk to Joyce-Collingwood Station, providing easy access to downtown. It is also very close to Central Park, Metrotown and BCIT.

The available bedroom is unfurnished and has a small closet. It can fit a queen sized bed and a desk. The house also has an unfinished basement that has a washer and dryer as well as plenty of storage space.

Rent is $1000 and utilities are not included (wifi, gas and electric). Depending on the season, they would be an additional $100-150 per month. The deposit would be $480 (pet deposit is additional). The house is managed by a property management company that will require a virtual interview before adding you to the lease. I have lived here for 4 years and they have been fantastic!

I’m a female in my early thirties and work full time Monday-Friday from home. I’m very clean, open-minded, laid back, friendly and respectful and look for the same in a future roommate! I love hiking, running, biking, snowboarding, going to breweries, cooking and baking :)

A female roomie is preferred, but I will consider a male if it is a good fit. Sorry, no couples.
