About the room

Hello! I own a new 2br/2ba condo at 3rd & Chesterfield (Lower Lonsdale) and am looking for a roommate! The building is only a few years old, so everything is still relatively new. It features a high-end appliance package, engineered hardwood floors, quartz countertops, air conditioning, and a fully furnished living room & kitchen.

About me: I’m 34 years old but get along with people of all ages. My girlfriend lives in Vancouver but is often over on weekends. I’m really easy going and friendly and have a good sense of humour (or so I like to think). I’m very neat and tidy which is SUPER important to me as I like to keep my place looking pristine! If you leave dishes out, don’t take turns cleaning up etc., it won’t work.

I enjoy hiking, tennis, reading, concerts, I exercise 4-5 times per week, and many other fantastic wholesome qualities one would look for in a roommate. I’m pretty quiet when I’m home. I work Mon-Fri (not at home), spend a couple hours in the gym after work, make dinner around 630-7, and then spend a couple hours either watching TV, finding new music, reading a book, or playing a video game. I have a 70“ TV at the foot of my bed so don’t need to worry about sharing the living room TV if you’re watching something I’m not interested in :)

The 2nd bedroom is unfurnished (bedroom furniture seen in pics are not staying) and admittedly a bit small (about 7.5’ x 8’), so ideal for a single bed with TWO bedside tables, or a queen with ONE bedside table, but the closet has built in organizers, and you get your own bathroom as I have my own ensuite. I literally haven’t used the 2nd bathroom once since moving here 4 years ago lol. I also have a big storage locker in the building which you can use if you need more storage space. There is plenty of street parking nearby; some of it is time limited, but a residential parking permit only costs $50 from the City which would definitely be worthwhile if you need parking.

The neighbourhood is obviously amazing - the most desirable spot in North Van, and one of the best in all of Metro Vancouver! Breweries, fitness studios, coffee shops, restaurants, seabus that takes you downtown in 15 minutes, the list goes on.

Let me know if you’re interested!

Cheers, Alex

About the roomies

Just me and my Roomba! And occasionally my girlfriend stays over, usually just on weekends.
