Jesse's room

This is a 2-bedroom townhouse with 1-bathroom in a family neighbourhood, large unfinished basement with dryer included. There is a washer in the house, it belongs to me but I am willing to sell it to the successful candidate and/or the current roommate, it works like new. There is a fenced in paved yard. There is one parking spot per house with a couple visitor spots, and extra parking at the Berkshire club down the street. Each tenant has full access the the Berkshire Club amenities including; Heated indoor swimming pool and seasonal outdoor pool, Recently renovated fitness room, Fitness and aquatic programs. Room is the master bedroom with medium size walk in closet, with lots of space and a large window.

I’m looking for someone to take over my half of the lease as I am moving at the end of February. There is already a roommate paying $650(heat/hydro/water/internet) in the smaller bedroom who wants to stay, what I pay is usually about $700(heat/hydro/water/internet) for the larger room, occasionally it is more during the summer with the air conditioners running and when I upgraded my internet but not by too much.

Rent is currently $1155.34 for the two bedroom town home and isn’t supposed to increase until next November. Shared between two people it’s quite reasonable.

The roommate in the small bedroom is a middle age lady in her late 40’s. She is on ODSP and does not work, so is there for any maintenance work that needs to be done around the house and packages that are dropped off. She is generally quiet and keeps to herself most of the time but does like to chat if you catch her in the right mood. She likes animals and is happy to feed and watch them. She doesn’t ask for favours or rides places and is generally respectful of personal space, belongings and privacy.
