Ad is for Animal Adorers only: Offering $100 monthly stipend ($1200/yr) to pet sit 2 friendly male cats while I’m away for work (2-4 weeks home/2-4 weeks away for work). Ideal for students/recent grads/work-a-ways working and staying in the Halifax area. Newly Reno’d open-concept furnished apartment (unfurnished bedroom) in the Armdale district, close to waterfront trails, Long Lake trail, BLT trail (cycling) for outdoor enthusiasts, yoga studio down the road, close to Bayer’s Lake shopping and Halifax mall. Parking on street, bus routes, paid laundry on-site, internet/hydro extra (~ $50/month for both).

I’m a relaxed (36 F), down-to-earth, friendly and respectful roommate. I grew up in a large family and have had 20+ roommates as I travelled around Canada, so I’m used to sharing space. I’m a recent grad in science, outdoorsy and get out hiking/beach/biking a lot when I’m home in the summer. I do lots of cooking and enjoy sharing good food/drinks, read/watch tv when I’m home in the winter (usually in my room with headphones). I’ve learned that everyone is “very clean” to their own standards, so mine is tidying on the go (like wiping down surfaces after I cook), vacuuming/bathroom 1/week, dusting 1/month. Looking for someone with similar values and lifestyle who is friendly and open to communication. Happy to have someone to do things with and just as happy to have alone quiet time :)
