A 2 bedroom apartment in an quiet neighborhood. I do own the property and have put a lot of work into upgrading and making a cozy space (if you’re planning on moving in long-term then you can feel free to paint your room). It is pet friendly, but any uncaged animals (dogs, cats, etc.) should be okay around small animals, as I have 2 chinchillas who live in the shared space, as well as a chihuahua (who would need to be introduced in advance to any potential dogs in advance).

There is an in unit washer/dryer, a separate storage room, and a fully stocked kitchen in terms of appliances (blender, food processor, air fryer, espresso machine, etc.), staples, etc. It’s a 3 minute walk to a bus stop, 15 minute walk to the nearest LRT station. ***I am currently on a waitlist for a second parking spot, but there is space to park for free at a church next-door.

It should be noted that due to the chinchillas the apartment has to be kept at a cooler temperature (25 is the absolute max!), so if that would be an issue for you then then this might not be a great fit.

I’m a 27 year old social worker. I’m a bit of a homebody and tend to hang around the house (usually reading), and am very quiet. I also work from home most of the time. I’ll often be keeping to myself but do also enjoy being able to talk and do things with my roommates, so I’m definitely looking for someone I can get along with. I do have people over every once in awhile but I would always give a heads up - I don’t mind guests in general, as long as there’s a courtesy update so that it’s not a surprise.

I am a clean person, and I’m looking for someone who is willing to do their fair share of household duties keeping shared spaces clean.
