Roommate - 1000 sq ft Prime Location 1 Room Rent for 1 professional

Danforth and Glebemount Large 2 bedroom apartment

Room rental: $950/ Month (Prime area, top floor and huge size) City Parking Permit if needed is about $25 a month, lots of permit parking around us Utilities: about $70-80 per person per month throughout the year Garbage tags are $5 each, at most we have had 1 garbage a week, usually every 2 weeks, we split common items like garbage bags, blue bags, green bin bag, cleaning supplies etc… A HUGE plus is the washer and dryer between our unit and the unit behind us which is free, covered by the building owner, there is just no hot water for the washer.

1st and last months rent is required Renters insurance is a MUST Internet is about $33 per person per month $50 key deposit A recent letter of employment A recent credit check, Trans Union or Equifax References: 1 previous landlord and 1 work Term: 1 year, ends Aug 31, 2022, at which point we can decide on a next term

1000 square feet with HUGE rooms for the area Close to Woodbine Station 13-15 minutes to downtown Toronto The property manager is AWESOME, super friendly, only until recently have long term tenants moved out because of personal situations. There are many attractions close by: Value Mart (2 blocks west and sells PC branded products), a delicious bakery, library, Shopper Drug Mart, 24/7 McDonalds, Pizza Nova at the end of the block, a great bar 2 doors down, a Wine Rack right next door, currently the commercial space is empty, all the tenants in the building are super nice, very respectful of sound, we generally don’t use any bass. The bedroom faces the Danforth (Juliet doors), so if you are sensitive to sound like I am, I generally have a fan on and when it gets noisy I put ear plugs in. The unit is on the third floor (top floor) with the best view of the building however there is no elevator. Sunroof in the washroom and building hallway. My favorite thing about the location is the summer farmer’s market, fresh bread and produce steps from our front door once a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sour dough olive bread =D Rent around the area is already going up so lock in something quick. Again 1000 sq feet with a view!!!!!!!!!!!!

About the roomies

Myself: Male, 35, Canadian born Chinese (I’m quite Canadian), trying to get back into shape, lots 40 lbs of fat in the last 4.5 years, lacto-ovo vegetarian but I’m slowly adding fish back into my diet, I don’t care what you eat, I have a very stable government job, I’m quite into latin dancing, in the winter I usually have a few friends over to dance once a week, I’m definitely a foodie, I travel for food, I also enjoy cooking. I’m also quite outdoorsy, I have 3 back country camping trips planned for the year. I prefer having the common areas clean and tidy and personal space can be as messy as you like.
