This is a brand new building on Heron and Bank called Lunen Haus

My apartment is on the 15th floor. It is a 2 bedroon 2 bathroon, so each occupant has their own bathroom. The bathroom you’d be using is the master bathroom so it needs to be kept clean.

The building is walking distance from grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. There’s a Shoppers, Farmboy and Canadian Tire right next to the building.

The building is 6 mins drive from Carleton University and 12 mins drive from Algonquin Collage. We’re right next to Bank so lots of bus routes around the building. It’s a great choice for students!

Rent is 1850, I’m asking for half of that. price can be negotiable though depending on the person and their circumstances.

No parking available with this rental. There is only one spot and I use it to park my car. Cecil Ave, right next to the building, always has empty spots you can use for parking.

The building is brand new, I’m its first occupant and I just moved in in September 2021.

In suite appliances: washer and drier, dish washer, fridge, and stove and microwave.

The building has a well equipped gym

The rental comes with free 1 Gbpts unlimited internet from Rogers, so internet is not counted as part of utilities.

Only thing extra is hydro, its usually not expensive (around 40 dollars a month split by 2, so 20 dollars), might depend on usage in winter.

The room has a bed frame, mattress and a land light in it. You can add anything to it and decorate it as you like

The terms of the rental are very flexible, can probably do month to month.

I have two extremely friendly cats. The love company and if you are a cat lover I am sure you’d love them! Since I already have cats, it would be against landlord policy to add new pets.

Landlord prohibits smoking in the units. The apartment has a balcony (with a fantastic view) you can use to smoke cigarettes, weed, or anything else (i smoke shisha outside)

Due to cultural dietary restrictions, I can not be around pork products, I would appreciate it if you can respect that and keep the apartment pork free :)

My roommate who got this place with me had to go back to Europe for a personal matter, so I decided to rent out the room he used to share the costs.

I work from home so I am home most of the time. I love watching Nextflix, board games, and cooking. Im a really good cook! I love hikes and road trips.
