I am looking for a mature, considerate and responsible roommate to share costs in this beautiful, gluten-free and scent-free flat in the North End of Halifax. It has fantastic light, lots of windows (and plants), good airflow, and a small raised garden bed that we can share. The living room is quite spacious and there is room for additional living room furniture, if you have some to bring with you (and always room for more plants!). The available bedroom is 149“ x 135.5“ (12.4’ x 11.3’) and has a sizable closet for an apartment. There is one shared bathroom and an in-unit washer and dryer.

A parking space is included, or if you bus, the number 7 bus stop is only a few minutes walk away. Amenities and the Hydrostone Market are close by.

Apartment cost details: Rent is $675 each Heat and water are included. We pay for hot water, power and internet. Power is approximately $51.15 each per month. Internet is $51.15 each per month. Total monthly cost is approximately $781.15 each

I am 45 year old artist with a day job. ;) So, it is not uncommon for me to rotate or change the artwork on the walls in the apartment. I am a morning person who enjoys being up early, and I strive to live a healthy lifestyle and love cooking healthy meals. I spend a good chunk of my weekends painting and going for hikes.

While I love being friendly, and would be happy for us to become friends and hang out occasionally, I am also an introvert and will respect your personal space and privacy.

I enjoy a positive, peaceful and clean home environment. Because I have celiac and scent/chemical sensitivities, it is important to me to find someone like-minded, who is also gluten-free and scent-free to share this space with me. I am fully vaccinated and have a small fully vaccinated social circle.
