Melinda's room

We are looking for one roommate for our 800 ish sq ft house that is located on a beautiful tree-lined residential street near the Gorge waterway. It has both a long driveway and ample street parking, as well as a large backyard with two garden plots. Multiple bus routes within walking distance (8, 9, 11, 21, 22, 26), and minutes away drive from Tillicum Centre, Mayfair, and Uptown. There are three bedrooms, one bath, and shared in-suite laundry with the separate down stairs suite. The kitchen is spacious and has a dishwasher, and opens onto a deck. Heat and hydro are billed every two months, and there is great shared internet for $20/month (subject to change). There are two bedrooms on the main floor and one in the basement, though the basement room has already been claimed. The smallest room upstairs (258x290 cm) is for $700 base rent. and the larger room (300x344cm) is for $735 base rent. Applications will need to be submitted and checked by landlord. Unfortunately, this house is not friendly to people who have mobility issues due to old house uneven stairs. We may be able to accept another cat? Other small pets a possibility (up to landlord). Not 420 or smoking friendly. Proof of Vaccination required.

Melinda (she/they) and Amy (she/her), are friends, both 29, and work downtown. We’re both fairly nerdy and appreciate board game nights, video games, D&D, good books, and movie nights. We would appreciate a roommate who is willing to occasionally hang out for things like game nights, or shared dinners, and who will like living with both two humans and to very sweet cats. We both like a fairly clean home. Shared chores are expected. This is a queer home <3
