About the house:

• You’d pay $565 a month in rent (rent is split 3 ways)

• $583.33 deposit. Half of which is a damage deposit, the other half is half of last month’s rent paid upfront. You get the money back when you move out provided you follow the terms of the lease

• Utilities (water, hydro, & internet) are paid separately through Kev’s credit card and are split 3 ways. You’ll pay approximately $120 per month in utilities

• Your bedroom is on the 2nd floor, approximately 9.5ft by 12ft, with a window, and air conditioner

• 2 stories plus a spacious basement

• 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

• Mostly furnished except for your bedroom

• 2 parking spaces in the rear

• Kitchen has a double sink and a dishwasher

• Bathroom has a shower & bathtub (together)

• Bathroom has a bidet

• Lots of storage space

• Grocery is a 10 minute walk away

• Good bus access

• Hardwood floors

We are Kev (26, they/them) and Stephen (32, he/him). Kev works from home most days and Stephen works out of the house. We are both fully vaccinated. We have no pets. Kev is vegan and enjoys cooking with others. A bedroom in our house is available now. We both rent from a landlord who lives just a couple blocks away and who is very responsive.

The lease will be month-to-month, but we might sign a year lease if we are a good match

What I’m looking for:

I’m looking for someone who knows how to clean up after themselves and who feels comfortable speaking up when something is bothering them. We don’t tolerate racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia/ableism in this house. Please don’t apply if you’re not fully vaccinated against COVID.
