About the room
This is a 3 bed, 1.5 bath townhouse in King Edward Park. It’s close to gas stations, stores, and restaurants. If you drive, it’s only 10-15 minutes to Sherwood Park, prime Whyte Ave area, U of A campus, and downtown. The property has one parking pad (reserved for whoever occupies the master bedroom) and tons of free street parking nearby. For those who don’t drive, bus stops and the Valley Line (Bonnie Doon or Davies Station) are close by.
I am renting out a bedroom on the top floor of a townhouse that receives a lot of natural light. The room is already furnished with a queen bed, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Rent includes all WiFi and utilities. The laundry, bathrooms, and kitchen are all shared, and the basement is undeveloped but could be used for storage.
About the roomies
Roomie #1 - Outgoing, bubbly, funny, and respectful. She works out of the house (works in HR/marketing and acting) and keeps pretty busy with her personal life. When she’s home, she usually hangs out in her room but sometimes watches TV in the living room.
Roomie #2 (me) - Busy working professional who is frequently out and about, either for work or socially. I get along with most people and would consider myself very friendly. I’m big on a household centered around respect, consideration, and teamwork (we all help each other).
The dynamic of the home is chill, respectful, and positive, so I’m looking to have someone join who will fit in well with that. I have a British Shorthair cat and cannot accommodate any other cats in the home.
