Our apartment is the third floor of a building. It is a 25 minute walk away from UOttawa and a 15 minute walk from the Byward market. There are bus stops nearby going to the school, mall, downtown, etc. We are right beside a large dog park with walking trails along the Ottawa River. There is no smoking of anything on the premises (could just head over to the park if you wanted) and no large parties allowed. There are people living beneath us that like it fairly quiet. There is a large storage closet in the apartment. The bedroom is unfurnished, everything else is furnished by the roommates living there now. There is coin operated laundry, $1 per wash $1 per dry.

We are looking for one female roommate to take over 1 of our bedrooms. The person renting it now is leaving at the end of our lease (July 31). The roommate staying is male (21) and doing his Masters at UOttawa. I am female (23); I graduated at UOttawa last year and am now working.

We have 3 cats, all fully vaccinated and fixed. We would prefer that no other pets move in, but that is open for debate depending on the animal.

All groceries are ones own business (we do typically share condiments but are respectful of any boundaries, food related or not, that are set in place); we have a weekly cleaning list to keep the place presentable. Everyone has a shelf in the fridge, pantry, and linen closet.

The photos don’t do a very good job at showing the apartment, and how large it is; I have a video walk through that I am happy to send to anyone that is interested in the room so they have a better idea as to what this place looks like.
