Hello! I’m looking for a roommate to join me in a 2-bed 1-bath apartment located on the top floor of a two-storey house in Parkdale.
Unit: 1 bedroom for rent in a 2-bed 1-bath apartment.
Price: $1,032.50/month; utilities included (internet will be extra - exact amount TBD).
Location: Queen and Jameson (Parkdale)
Lease terms: This is a roommate search. Co-sign new one year lease with current tenant – start date April 1, 2024.
Required documents for application: For the landlord - credit check, proof of employment/income, landlord reference, first and last month’s rent deposit.
For the tenant (me) - roommate reference, sign roommate agreement.
Additional information: The apartment is great – plenty of natural sunlight entering the common spaces (e.g. living room and kitchen).
Very quiet and respectful house unit, looking for similar with the new tenant.
The living room is a big asset; very spacious and useful for working from home, or to hang out.
Laundry (washer and dryer) en suite.

The apartment is furnished (the exception being your bedroom) this includes most kitchenware. The outbound tenant has a mattress and bed frame for sale should you be interested.
The bedroom has a hardwood floor, closet with built in shelves, and can comfortably fit a double bed and a couple other pieces of furniture.
The landlords are lovely people, live nearby, and are very helpful when needed.
Great location between King and Queen Streets (501 and 504). There’s a No Frills, Shopper’s, LCBO, Dollarama all within a very short walk of the house, super convenient. Roncy, High Park are not far away either. The waterfront trail is a less than 10 minute walk away which is absolutely great for walking, cycling, etc. Lots of great cafes, bars, and restos in the area as well.
Street parking available by permit.
About you: Late 20s to late 30s, working professional. No preference for male/female/non-binary/LGBTQ, all are welcome to enquire. Most important is that you are respectful, friendly, quiet, clean, a good communicator, and willing to share responsibility in the home.
- No smokers (cigarettes or 420)
- No pets (sorry, the unit just isn’t equipped for it)
- No couples

About the roomies
Hello! My name is Evan and I’m a 36 year old Jewish male from Toronto. I’ve been living in the unit for 4 years. I work for a small travel company, and primarily work from home these days. When I’m not in front of my laptop doing that, I’m usually on my road bike logging KMs when the weather permits. I’m easy going and sociable, and otherwise leading a fairly simple and quiet life. For the most part I do my own thing at home, but I’m friendly and like to chat and hang out.
