Cozy One-Bedroom Home with Private Backyard – NDG, Montreal Budget-friendly one-bedroom home in NDG near Glen Super Hospital, ideal for students, business travelers or interns staying in Montreal for the summer. Private use of the entire home with Wi-Fi, laundry, AC, and all utilities included. Easy transit access via buses #90 & #104 to Vendôme metro (Orange Line), plus nearby grocery stores in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen and private backyard. Welcome to our cozy one-bedroom home in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG), Montreal! We are renting our home for the summer months and are ideally looking for a guest interested in a longer-term stay (up to 5 months), though the length of stay can be flexible upon agreement. We will be away from May 18 until the end of October, and the home will be entirely yours during that time. Some personal belongings will remain neatly stored in closed closets and cabinets, leaving ample space for your own items. We kindly ask that they be treated with care.
About the space The home is part of a duplex located just around the corner from bus routes #90 and #104, only three stops from Vendôme metro station (Orange Line). Although we live on the ground level, we will not be present during your stay — you will have full, private access to the home and will be the only occupant. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and residential, with grocery stores and everyday amenities nearby. Street parking is available. You will have access to: • A comfortable living room • A fully equipped kitchen • A private backyard with a deck, table, and chairs One bedroom will be yours — it is bright, clean, and comfortable. Two additional bedrooms will remain locked and unused for storage purposes only. No one else will access the home during your stay. The bathroom has been newly renovated. The rest of the house is older, with character, and well maintained. High-speed cable internet and a washing machine are available. Clothes can be dried on the backyard clothesline, in the veranda, or indoors on hangers.
Kitchen & amenities The kitchen includes: • Fridge & stove • Microwave & toaster • Filter coffee maker & teapot • Pots, pans, trays, and full utensils Basic cooking essentials (spices, salt, sugar, oil, vinegar) are provided. We personally prefer filtered water. A Brita filter and fridge water dispenser are available, or guests may choose bottled water.
House rules & details • You’re welcome to have a few friends over for coffee or a drink, but no parties • No smoking indoors (smoking is permitted outdoors in the backyard with the ashtray provided) • Wi-Fi included (password shared at check-in) • Air-conditioning unit in the living room • All utilities included
About the roomies
The home will be entirely yours. You may have visits from our son who lives in Toronto for several days when he comes to Montreal. We have nice tenants living upstairs, and our neighbors are also helpful if you have any questions or encounter any problems.
