We live directly across from Saint Mary’s university, and a bus stop 3 minutes walk away connects us to Dal and the rest of Halifax.

There’s a little wooded path at the end of our block that makes a great spot for a short walk, and for longer nature walks Point Pleasant Park is about a ten minute walk from the place.

The front yard is a nice green area with a table and a lounge chair. It’s a great spot for coffee in the mornings when it’s nice out.

Our kitchen consists of an oven with 4 stovetop burners, a microwave, and two fridges for ample food storage. We also have a deep freeze to extend the available freezer space.

We have a washer and a dryer in the basement which are free to operate. The downstairs area has a pool table, a bar area, and a carpeted room that currently serves as a musical jam space.

Utilities and internet comes out to roughly 200$ per person but varies by month. This makes the monthly expense ~900$.

My name is Johannes and the other room-mates are Kyle and Paul. I’m finishing a computer engineering degree at Dal, Kyle’s working, and we both play in bands. Paul is an athlete and he’s going to SMU for his final year in economics. I (Johannes) am 23, Kyle is 22, and Paul is 24. We’ve all been friends for years and we’re pretty laid back but diligent with dishes and that kind of thing.

Paul will be moving in starting September, and Kyle and I have been living here for two years with three other musical friends and love the spot. Since three of our buddies are moving out, we’re looking to get another person or two to help cover rent and take care of this beautiful spot.
